Get Real Youth Services.

Providing an innovative, holistic approach to supporting young people and their families.

Get Real Youth Services (GRYS) provides mentoring services for the public sector, working with young people who have found themselves involved in or affiliated with gangs and/or submerged/on the brink of a life of crime/exploitation.

We also cater to young people in schools and those who have found themselves intertwined with the social care system.

Services we provide

Mentoring

Empowering youth. Instilling confidence.

Through mentoring, support and guidance, it is our ultimate aim for young people to feel empowered and confident to achieve their personal goals and thrive in being the best that they can be.

Innovative approach to mentoring and engaging young people.

We deliver a 12-week mentoring programme that supports young people by:

  • Problem solving - help to overcome issues and challenges.

  • Self reflection - identifying their strengths and interests.

  • Personal development - goal setting & future focused targets.

  • Networking - provide networking opportunities.

  • Positive experiences - future aspiration raising encounters.

Support services

Holistic support for young people.

We are dedicated to helping both young people and their families by working through issues and providing 1:1 support for the young person. We get to the root issues, which can lead back to the home.

Bottom up intervention.

Delving into the environment young people occupy, gives us insight into the experiences which impact their perceptions of the world.

Collaboration.

We do not forget the crucial support parents and carers need to support their child through this journey and tailor our support based on their needs.

What people are saying

“It is with great pleasure that I am fully endorsing Get Real. The inspiring and progressive interventions delivered, demonstrate the importance of care and compassion towards our next generation and their parents/carers; providing them with the space and permission to thrive and develop. The interventions are unique, and inclusive and clearly allow children and their families to take agency in the decisions made about them. GRYS are special individuals who often go above and beyond and is a critical example of the importance of displaying the power of relationship building and giving aspiration to our children.”
